My two rats have mites and was wondering if anyone had a packet of revolution they dont need?? They usually come in a 3 pak and i only need 0.06cc of the stuff, i thought i might see if i can get an individual pak before going to a vet clinic and paying $40

Your vet will have some, it'd be good to get a checkup done anyways, then it's only one trip :) Plus it'd be good to have a vet's opinion just in case it's something more serious than mites.

Thats what we are doing. I have 4 boys needing to be treated, we'll take them in as one trip and pay the $50 plus meds. Your vet might sell those individually. I know one vet here doesnt sell the Advanage in singles, but the one I go to does for $10 vs $30-40 for a full box. Its good since we only use twice a year. And you never know, something could be picked up on that you might not notice!

Vet said $15 so not bad, and i like the vet there, she LOVES rats so she made an oxygen chamber for those really suffering from respitory distress.

Anyhoo, my last vet said that these mites cannot be transfered to me, is this true? Im reading on the 'rat lady' that these blood suckers can and will transfer to humans.

These mites are the bloodsuckers, orange/red critters with silver eggs on the hair follicle.
