Question about male privates???

As most of you know I had 5 boys neutered last week, all are doing well for the most part. Rhys is still having respirtory issues, but I kind of expected that.

Now Teddys' penis has been out for 2 days. When it was out yesterday I just thought it was a fluke thing, but then it was still out today and I have no idea what to do. I remember hearing somewhere that you should lube it up and it will go back in?? I don't know, any advice welcome!!!

Poor bugger, yes, use vaseline and it should slip back in. This is not the first time that I read about paraphimosis after a neuter. http://ratguide.com/health/figures/para ... gure_1.php

I would assume the internal swelling from the neuter causes this..same thing happened to
Goliath.


All the suggestions are in his thread. Keep it lubed up though, if it dries it could get infected and then you have a HUGE problem.

The same thing happened with Davros after his Neuter. We didn't have any baby oil so we used olive oil. Then we read somewhere to try applying sugar to the penis as well. He was ok after a bit but it was a stressful few hours!

I am soooooo happy, I was a bit nervous because the first time I lubed him up it was a bit dry and I thought it wasn't going to ever go in but it did....what a relief!
