Pulling on Fur?

My boy Toby just got neutered on Friday, he is currently out with his brothers for a play date (he is staying in a revovery cage for a few days) and he is pulling on their fur, what's up with this? is he trying to be dominant?

Is he yanking on them or grabbing at them and pulling fur out?

It could be a warning to them to stay away from him.

I've noticed a few rats do the yanking but it's more a "come with me". Usually seen in mom rats, they do that a lot to their rats.
But males do that too. I don't think it's anything bad.

 

Yeah he dosen't seem to hurt them, he just kind of yanks as in sayign come here kinda thing.
