Problem with resp. issues!

Do vet's board rats for the holiday's? The complete story bellow:

Isy and Kali are the worst off for now and I'm pretty sure that when I take them to the vet they will come back with meds, but my question is :
I wonder if they could keep them to medicate them from maybe now until the 27th cause my rat sitter wont touch them in fear of them escaping so I doubt he will sit there and try to shove meds down their throats.

Is there a way also that If i can not get them in to the vets to relieve their resp. tract till after I come home?

I know my clinic will board animals here. And I think that would be too long to start them on meds, rats can get very sick very fast. Can you call your clinic and find out?

I can call and ask yes!

Either way, I think you need meds. If you get the oral syringe ones, ask your sitter to at least stick them into treats(bread soaks it up well, so do strawberries, I've shoved them into a grape before) and make sure they eat them.

I thought about doing it that way, of sticking it in food!
