ppl who use loose leaf binder rings

what size do you get?

I've only been able to find them in these sizes:
3/4 inch
1 inch
1 1/2 inch
2 inches
3 inches

I am thinking the smaller, the better, am I wrong?

I use all sizes and it depends. i have no issues in the rats cages I use them to hold the litter box in place and some hammocks. Some of the hammocks i use larger ones so that they can get on top of it

It depends on your needs/hammock style. How much room do you want to leave at the top? The one thing I have found is binder rings tend to open, especially with bigger rats, so they were not great for hanging hammocks in my experience.

Same for me as with Victoria and Peggy. It depends.

Be careful that they can't get their heads stuck in the ring though! That would be my biggest fear with those.

Are you unable to get shower hooks or do you just prefer binder rings?

I can get shower hooks but for some reason got the idea that these were safer...

or easier to use?

I thought they locked tight but if not, there's no reason to get these, they are more expensive then the shower rings
