I just noticed this morning that Kamchie was power grooming her baby (don't worry, she's like 1 year and half old. I just kept her when I got Kamchie) and when she let her go, there was a small spot of blood. o_O It isn't much but it's still on her neck. She could've been real hurt and on the neck is not a very nice place. Ever had one of your rat do that?

She's being too aggressive in her grooming. Keep an eye on them if it continues you might want to use something like bitter apple on the rat so she doesn't get groomed so hard anymore. We had a couple of buddies do that to each other, not pretty.

Also, I have actually cut myself on my rat's teeth before. They are just that dang sharp. If the little one jerked the wrong way while the teeth were nearby, it would look more like a little papercut. And bleed.

Exactly. That's when a rat should have zigged instead of zagged.
