Of course this happens when all my vets are closed.

I've noticed Jack's been a bit lethargic. I did a overall check of him and found that the area around his penis is very sore. His bladder seemed full, too. I checked for a plug and there was none but he was in a lot of pain. After going to call my vets I checked him again and his bladder didn't seem full anymore but he was still a bit sensative.

I can't get him to the vet until Monday, I did find some Baytril I had and gavw him some. Does this sound like a possible UTI? What else should I do for him until I can get him to the vet?

It seems this always happens on weekends. For me as well, there are no vets available then. At least you've got him on baytril now, keep him on until you see the vet. Keep his cage very clean and lots of fresh water as well.

Was the baytril already reconstituted? If so how old was it?

Does sound like a UTI.

You could put him down in a small hospital cage on white paper towel to make sure he is peeing, see if there's blood in the urine etc.

The Baytril was kind of old, the experation date said it expires sometime in March, though. And it had been refridgerated,
