Possible stroke?

I just discovered one of my rats, Whiskers, laying on his side, making snorting sounds as he breathed. His breathing is really labored and noisy, but he made it through the night. Is there anything I can do to help him? He's nearly two, and his cagemate isn't sick.

Im so sorry about your baby. We're having similar issues with our 3 yr old boy and I'm stressed. Calling the Vet first thing in the morning!

Thankfully he's eating & drinking when prompted but he's seemingly weak or paralyzed on his left side, very confused & really dazed. He had a sudden spazzy, running all over his cage moment yesterday, which I've since learned could've been the Stroke. I cant wait to reach our Vet. My heart is breaking.

For now, we're snuggling like crazy, eating when we can and sleeping in mommy's room tonight lol. Our other 7 Rats are just fine, so thats good.
