Started her on amoxi (ped-friendly), then caught her gasping 2 nights ago, changed to cipro (baytril is on order)...thinking of adding a teeny bit of dex to open those airways (worked with Goli).
Pinta started with a rough night that got better, I am now throwing things at this baby girl not caring about interactions. After a steaming in the bathroom, she was a lot better and stopped gasping, so I was able to get meds into her (amoxi., dex & cipro). this morning I added a teeny bit of lasix to the regime. She's now eating her morning cereal with gusto.
She's now taken to licking me and then bruxxing between her respy attacks.
All those kitchen sinks I threw at this tiny baby seemed to have done some good! Not sure if it was the addition of the amoxi or the lasix but her breathing is easy, and she's not wheezing and especially not gasping. :happydance:
