My not even one year old boy rat always have the crusty blood looking stuff around mostly their nose one of my dumbo rats had it the worst but stopped after I changed their fleece in there baskets more but now the other 4 rats are getting it? I have a critter nation 3 tier and the bottom is my boys and then I enclosed the middle one from the bottom and then the top and middle is my 6 girls (I have so many because I ended up with a pregnant rat)
but the girls never have it?! Idk if it’s something with their cage but I have no idea I am not on the verge to taking them to the vet because the vets here are super expensive because I am taking my older rat to the vet soon and I cannot afford to pay for 5 rats checkup. Plz Help I hate looking at their little faces with pneumonia on them. I also did take a cotton pad with warm water and hold it on the rats eye that was super bad and it made it better but I don’t know why all of a sudden they have it too? I forgot to mention there isn’t a lot of pneumonia on their nose just a little around their nose
