Please,
If ANYONE can, or knows someone that can help with the transport of 2-3 of these ratties from Lisa's Adopt a Rat Fredericton on April 16-20, 2012, starting from the east coast of Canada in New Brunswick, through Maine, and ending in N.Y.C, that would be a great help :') It's not 1 person, I'm hoping its a team of dedicated rat lovers ;)

If you can safely transport, please PM me! :)

Thanks a ton,

Cynthia

I would suggest you make a post on goosemoose.com also. They are a US based forum and there may be someone who can help.

We've had issues thus far with the border but are hopefully transporting rats from Fredericton, NB later this week or next week down to Maine where they will then be fostered in various homes for Mainely Rat Rescue, who have foster homes all throughout Maine & 6 other states including NY. They have rat trains for their own rats so perhaps you could get in touch with someone there & see if you could get those little ones on board with ours or maybe a separate train & hopefully brought all the way down. It couldn't help to ask since they are rat rescuers with many volunteers and supporters from here all the way to NY! :D Good luck!

Thanks ;) I'll try to catch it, but she needs to bring them to a vet and pay for the documents to bring them down from Canada to where I'm at(N.Y.C).

That is precisely what we are now working on & I don't know when we'll be able to have those & coordinate again so if she's following our attempts she'll know the time line!
Contact someone in the states or MRR though because ours are going to Maine & that's it that I am aware of.

I know :/
I know that if they do get transported, they'd be going through Maine :)
Wow. This should be National Rat Lovers week XD So many people are arranging transportation, expecting litters, adoptiong, etc

Sadly, It didn't work out :(
Hopefully we can adopt 2 Canadian ratties from MRR if everything works out.
Wierdest thing. o_o My 4 girls were VERY shy these past couple of days..but when my sister brought over her 2 female rats(Alana and Hesta) so I can "rat sit", my girls started coming out of the fleece, and they were trying to play with the two! So,when I brought them out of the cages, they sniffed eachother, and went to sleep together on the sofa! >,< After a while, the 4 girls(Lani,Nina,Maya, and Gaia),were crawling up my shoulders, nesting on my head, giving kisses(aww),and resting on my lap!! When Alana and Hesta left, and we put the girls back into their cage, they became shy again, and hid under the fleece :S Does anyone think they're lonely? :'/
