My older girl, Molly who's 2, has started acting very weird these last couple of days .. she is grabbing any rat that passes her and dragging them around by biting their skin and pulling! And just now she was in the igloo and the babies were passing the door and she just kept biting their skin and dragging them into the igloo! There's a lot of squeaking but no blood.

What should i do ? I wouldnt like her to live alone in a cage :(
And why do you think shes done this all of a sudden ??

Thanks - Poll

Its a phase some females go through, they start nesting, and trying to drag cagemates to the nest like they were babies that had wandered off. The behaviours will pass, don't worry, and the rats eeping are protesting, not so much scared.

That makes sense actually yesterday she was ripping up all the newspaper at the bottom and dragging it into the igloo. I cant tell you how relieved I am! I hope it passes soon. Thanks So much :)
