Pimple under tail?

Hi all, one of my two oldies, Seamus, has a bump on the underside of his tail, rather close to the base about half a centimetre in diameter...I gave it a feel and it's sort of squishy, like a large (compared to human acne) spot filled with puss :sick2: Definately doesn't appear to be a tumour...do you reckon I have a go at popping it or leave it be? Warm compresses maybe? Doesn't even seem like an abscess... :/ I'm dying to pop it though >.< being the sicko I am :nod:

Pimples are really just little abscesses... and absolutely, that can happen. Give it a few warm compresses and go from there.

Okay, I'll try compresses tonight after dinner and see what I can get out!

Ugh had a go at emptying it, it is just a pimply type thing but as I was getting to the end, he was getting rather uncharacteristically bitey and stressed out so I've left him to have a break for now and I'll have to try and come up with a more tempting treat to distract him with while OH holds him!
