I just don't understand it. She is chasing everyone, and I guess it's power grooming. I have read that power grooming is nothing to worry about, but Penny grabs any of the other girls she can and they just start screaming. I really don't know what to do with her. She was always my "shy girl", but now she's the monster. She shows no aggression to me, thankfully, but it seems it would be miserable to be locked in a cage with her.

As far as usual info, Penny was born July of last year, I have all six girls in a large "chinchilla mansion" from quality cages, and Penny was spayed about a month ago. Used to she would target the two new girls I took in, but now she's after everybody. Any help would be wonderful. I'm not sure what to do. Thanks all.

Could it be just rough play? How big is the cage? Are there cuts and blood? How old are the other girls? I know I have a cage with lots of rough play here but at the end of the day they're all sleeping together. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Sounds like she's not dealing well with the changes of her spay. I'd give her loads of one on one socializing. I would pull her out each time she would harass the others.

Thanks so much for the help. I know the cage is big enough(as I've checked on here before), all the girls are under a year old. Half are spayed, half are not. I haven't found any sores on anyone other than Penny. ??? One small scab on her back. Not even sure if she could have done it herself. I'm trying the one on one, and she seems to be responding a little bit. Could it just be "middle child syndrome" along with the spay messing up her chemicals? Thanks again. :)

Thanks for the advice Jo. We'll nip this in thing in the bud. ;) It's frustrating mostly because their cage is *right* beside the comp in the living room, where I spend a good deal of time. I have been hearing squeaking almost nonstop for a bit now because of this whole Penny thing. I just want my girls to be happy. :) Thank you again.
