Hey Everyone,

I just got back to the states(and to my rats) on tuesday, and they were perfectly fine except for a tiny bit of congestion, so I'm guessing it's time to go to a vet and get some doxy./baytril.

However, today, my Matilda was a lot less active than usual. She was perfectly fine last night and this morning, but when I got back from school and opened the cage, she didn't really want to come out so much. She was sitting in her box, but eventually came out halfway so I picked her up and let her run around the room. She was normal.

During this time, I gave them some avocado(witch they both rejected) and apple, witch No Name ate a lot of but Matilda only a teeny bit.

Right now, Matilda is sitting in her box again, and I feel as though something is wrong. She just came out, and she seems to be doing what I believe to be those "owie stretches". She walks a few steps, and seems to stretch her back, then walks a few inches again, and does it again.

Should I be super worried? She seems fine otherwise. Do rats just get tummy aches sometimes for no reason?
When should I be really worried? Is this enough for a vet visit, if it doesn't clear up by tomorrow?(it's too late now, and I don't think it's so bad she should go to the ER)

Note: Matilda is about a year old now, maybe less. She hasn't had any health issues before, except two URIs. She isn't on any medicine, and I haven't changed anything in their diet. No Name is perfectly normal.

:sad3:

She might of been having some stomach pains. I'd keep an eye on her anyways, in case she keeps doing it. I'm glad she's all better now.
