OK What is going on with Haley! Help! Everyone Needed! PG 2!

So over the last few days Hailey has ballooned into this little butterball and I knew something was wrong. SO I made the appointment with the vet and she didn't feel any lumps but she put her to sleep and aspirated her abdomen and she said she found everything possible with infection :sad3: and she also seen cells that were abnormal that she never seen before and determined that they were a type of lymphoma :cry4: So now shes on a higher dose of baytril and then she will live her life until she can't anymore. :cry: She is still eating and going as normal, so the vet thinks she still has a while before things get bad.

Thanks guys! I just spent half an hour chasing her around trying to get her to take her abs! She has spent the last day since we came back curled up with ben in a box

So she was running like crazy this morning and I noticed she is starting to slim down, shes got hips again! :joy: She was hiding food again in the corner! :cloud9:

So glad that she is feeling better today. Maybe without the infection she will feel OK for a long time to come.

SO I took a pic of her this morning because she was sitting on her bum and noticed that she had a spot on her belly. So I took her into the tub and soaked it and a whole bunch of green pus came out. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow at 9 am. Hopefully they can do something for her. What should I tell my vet? What suggestions do you guys have?

Get some antibiotics. It may be that she had a massive internal abscess or that a a tumour is becoming necrotic. I got Metronidazole and Baytril when Sophie's tumour abscessed and it helped a lot with the infection.

Ok I need help:

On a Saturday almost 2 weeks ago I noticed Haley's abdomen and sides ballooned up. By monday I took her into the vet and they aspirated her belly as they did not feel any lumps or bumps. They said that they found many different types on infections. She mentioned Rods. She also found abnormal cells that she is saying is a type of lymphoma/cancer. She has been on baytril for the last 10 or so days. She is not slimming down. She went to the vet again today as she had a small abcess on her belly. So I compressed it and got the scab off and her skin underneath was pink and all the junk was gone. She gave me more baytril and said she would order doxy to see if that would help with the inside infection. She gave me cleanser and sent me off. Her abscess hole is now closed and looks very good. But speaking with Lilspaz and Victoria they don't think its Lymphoma. SO I need help!

Symptoms:
Bloating or swelling of abdomen
Abcess (superficial)
Still eating lots
Normal poop
No lumps or bumps
Abdomen is still soft

Food:
Harland
Peas
Corn
Carrots
Baby cereal
Toddler puffs
Baby cheerios

Medications:
Baytril
Doxy- On order

So please help me by putting your heads together and help me figure this out! I don't want this to be a massive internal abscess!

I wonder if your vet would consider Clavamox, which my vet prescribes for anything internal other than myco.
