New Boxo?

I was talking to someone recently that told me that the new Boxo (packaging has changed) is not absorbent/repels liquid, more similar to tissue paper than cardboard. I'm wondering if anyone has tried the new product and if they've found any change. The company says that it's just a packaging change, but I don't want to recommend it if it has in fact changed.

 

My friend used to use the old boxo, and now hates the new stuff, she said it does not absorb well at all!
