We have a pet rat that we found in our trash can last summer. We put up notices to see if somebody lost her and no responses. We decided to keep her. She had a bad eye infection and we managed to scrape up the money for her to be seen. It cleared up and now she has what I believe to be a mammary tumour. We simply cannot afford surgery. Remember, we didn’t go get her with the knowledge that we might not be able to afford her upkeep which I know happens. Instead we decided to rescue her and hope she was healthy. Because we can’t afford the operation, can anybody tell me if possible supplements we can give her or anything else we could possibly do?

Thank you!

Hi deedee

I’ve just found something that could be helpful one of our senior members here has just posted a shed load of info and places and links where you can gain free professional advice it’s posted in the health section same place as your ad it’s called reference (as close as I can remember without losing all my typed stuff here) it’s about 2 up from your post 🤗hope this helps you out ❤️

Unfortunately mammary tumours arent particularly treatable. You can only try to slow the growth by avoiding sugars, fats, excessive proteins as these will feed the tumour and make it grow faster.
