One of our little guys was sneezing since we picked him up. I contacted the people we got them from and they said that the other mom had been sneezing and that they took her to a vet. The vet appartenly checked her over and said she was fine. That some rats sneeze more often than others.

I *think* his sneezing has diminished. They had him on Carefresh, I put them on YN with fleece. Open water bowls instead of bottles, no scents or cleaning products in our home, out of drafts etc.

I did give him some echinacea tea for the first few days and I might continue to see if it makes any difference.

He does not have any raspiness in his lungs. He doesn't make the noises while asleep. He generally sneezes or makes his little squeaky noise when he wakes up or as he is eating. No discharge on the eyes or mouth.

Can you take a look and see what you think. The section by the cage door shows his sneezing, while the noises in the hammock and while he is eating are more representative of his squeaky noise.

P.S. I love the little section with Templeton fighting with him. T gets him in a hold and Houston starts eating his pasta. Poor Templeton couldn't have been scaring him too much

Oh I don't like the sound of that sneeze. I'd bring him to a vet asap. It's sounding deep and wheezy. I'd nip that in the bud asap.
I'll move this to the health care section.
