My rat is pee dark yellow pee

My 1 and bit dumbo rat is starting to pee dark yellow pee..Diet hasn;t changed.. He's drinking normally..Any ideas?

Does it have a different smell? Have you fed any vegetables during the past few day? Is he dehydrated?

pee smell the same...as for food broccali, tofu, and his food block..and as for dehydrate no. did the test on his neck..

hmm... I would keep an eye on it then. Sometimes when they just wake up their pee is darker because it's more concentrated.

Too much broccoli can cause some interesting things, including farting in rats. Sounds like its more concentrated, but if there's no smell, there's likely not infection, so I would just watch and wait to see if it returns to normal in a day or 2.

The new young rats I just picked up are peeing dark... I'm not concerned unless I see other symptoms like loss of appetite, listless, porphyrin, signs of pain.
