Sorry about the subject heading but I wasn't sure how to put it more politely...maybe Slippery Secretion in Faecal matter..??
Anyway, Rosie seemed to be off last week and I posted it as a stomach ache. I know the vet wouldn't know what to do so after a few days, I started her on Baytril. She improved that day. Her poos had been looking sloppy since she was feeling off though and tonight I found another globul in the bathroom. When I looked at it I noticed it was mucusy and there was a little gooby clear bit in the poo. If it was a one off, I probably wouldn't mind so much, but she's been doing this for over a week now. Nothing has changed, diet is the same but poos are very soft, large and often greenish. Are there any common viral or digestive problems that rats can get? She is back to her chirpy self but these poos are stressing me out!
