Just want peoples suggestions.

I move my rats around a lot depending on their situations and newbies.
By move them around, I mean ..switching friends, cages, etc.

Example:

Teddy, Toby & Bella were living together in the top half of the CN ..but Teddy and Toby are both developing HED ..so I moved them to a larger rabbit cage with a low shelf. I left Bella in the top half of the CN because Toby and Teddy are not as active as her, so I moved Bug & Chole up with her (they used to live with Badger and Scamp) ..and now I'll be introducing my newbie, Diego to Badger & Scamp.

Teddy & TOby will still have playtime with Bella, Badger and Scamp will still have play time with Bug and Chloe ..so they still get to be friends, etc.

I find that it dose not stress them out, maybe because of the playtime?

What are your opinons?

I think it sounds like a good thing. You know what to look for and will see it if anyone gets stressed. I think it gives them a well rounded existence which makes it possible for them to befriend everyone! :hugs:

:nods: Thanks you :)

I hate having to move them, but it's always for the best! :)

At least they are never bored :p

I'm going to move this into behaviour because when you think about it, it's a big question. I hope others share their opinions and experience on this.
Some rats don't take to change very well but then there are others who thrive on it.
