Mites?

I was checking on my boys today and LB actually let me hold him. Now his whole life his fur has been thin and overall he just never had good skin. I never really paid attention to how he looked because of this and because I only saw him when I was at my ex's.

Once up close I noticed that he's actually in a really rough condition. Lots of nasty looking scabs and one really huge one. Will be taking him to the vet.

This is the giant scab on his back.

Yes that is what mites look like and that is a bad case at that. It probably hurts. You need some revo asap. maybe something for pain.

That's a bad case of mites. The big scab, might be an old abscess. Your vet will get him all fixed up and healthy again.
