No. Revolution and Ivermectin are the only two drugs that are safe for use on rats. The drug in Revolution is Selemectin, which is related to Ivermectin.
Regular advantage is for fleas only, anyway. Advantage multi is for fleas and internal parasites (different worms), I don't think it even touches mites on dogs.
My vet called the Advantage "home office" and was told Advantage should never be used on rats. I bought Revolution, without a prescription from Petshed in Australia. I used Ivermectin before and it worked really well, but you have to dose 2 or 3 times , I believe every 2 or 3 weeks. Be sure and get exact doseage before treating them. Shelagh on this forum has helped me alot.
