Missy had a bit of a tumble last night during intros. I checked her over immediately afterwards, but she seemed okay.

Today when I got home though, I noticed that she was way more wobbly than normal. I watched her walking at eye level, and could tell she was favoring one of her front feet. Upon closer examination, its a bit swollen.

I'm guessing that she sprained it when she fell. To reduce swelling/pain, do I use Metacam or predisone? I have both ...

I would only use it if it's pretty obvious that the rat is in pain or lots of swelling. If it's just a bit, then it's best to let the rat feel slight discomfort so they do stay off that food.
