Last night I went to make sure the girls had water and food and give them their night cuddles and I noticed Melody was off. She feels very confused to me, she was turning in circles.
Melody is my blind girl who is a very self assured girl.
I'm sad because I thought of the last 3 she would be with me longer. So I am putting her on pred and abs to see if I can bring her back.

Question though, she's missing one eye and blind in the other. But the other is getting this white spot on it. It's not round like I would think a cataract would look like. I am not sure what it is but I thought I would ask.

Yes It's in around the middle of the eye. But it's like a paint splatter the way it looks. Hard to describe and because her eyes are pink I don't think it would come through in a picture. I can try tonight.

What's really a heart warmer is that Melody is the one that has bitten me twice (my mistake because there are no fingers allowed between the bars, that and she doesn't know it's not food). Anyhow I had worked on being gentle with her for a while. Last time she was on meds she had an abscess and she took it nicely. My norm is meds with cool whip and dry baby cereal together on a spoon and they lick it off my finger. I have never had any refusals except for when they are telling me they want to pass. I debated for a while how to administer the meds. Melly is a little confused so I worried she might bite, but I put faith in her and just gave her my finger. I figured if she was rough I would just give her the spoon. My Melly Belly was gentle as ever.

Thank you everyone, Melody is feeling a whole lot better. She was eating blocks again and everything.

Melody has made a full recovery, she's back to her old self. So I am trying to wean her slowly off pred to see if she's recovered or if she needs to be on pred for life.

This is a pic of my sweet girl (this side is her missing eye)
