meds by humidifier

What meds can be used in the medicine cup? Maz and Bear both are to the point where nebulizing is counterproductive, it stresses them way too much. Have placed the humidifier near them, and it seems to be helping a bit. I wondered if the aminophylline and amikacin I have for the nebulizer can also be used in the medicine cup of the humidifier??

That's a good question. I think it would be best to ask your vet unless someone here has a definitive answer. That would be an easy fix for those rats who have trouble with being nebulized.

I know the baytril in injection form can be used in a nebulizer. I think the point is to get it in there in a reasonable time. I know humidifiers run longer so i am not sure that it would have the desired effect. I would ask your vet. I would love to hear the answer.
