its 100mg Ibuprofen in each teaspoon, is there a way to break it down for rats?

I have a scale, but poor little bink was freaked and in pain enough to bite and draw blood, so I'm letting him cool down for a few before I weigh him, as soon as I do, I'll post his weight on here.

Well, my scale maxes out at 500 grams and the needle swings past that when I try to weigh him...but I can't get an accurate weight, thats all I have...if I had to guess using pounds I'd say he's a pound and a half to a pound and 3/4. They're both grossly overweight.

I have kids and I didnt know infant was twice as concentrated as children's. Neato! What would the dose be for infant? Just in case, since I always have it on hand. I let Dean have a little bit the other day when his toe got nipped, he perked up and felt great. (By little, I mean 2 or 3 licks off a syringe)

What weight is Dean?

Ahh average? LOL I do not have a weight scale... he's not thin, not overflowing, just perfect (but muscular).

But he might be a long big rat weighing 600 grams or a smaller boy weighing only 430 grams...I can't tell from that description :)

Mine all range in size anyways, it would be for future use.... a few are fluffy but weigh less, some are small but muscular, and then there's the inbetweenies.

Any suggestion on what kind of scale to buy and where? It should be something I have anyways.

Totally hyjacked, sorry!

I use a Pelouze postal scale, up to 2 kg in 1 gram increments. I have used it for years now...worth the investment.

Cardboard, its a lower dosage but it should take the edge off...you could try to get a bit more into him later on and top him up. I hope he feels better, poor teethy guy.

I bought my scale from Walmart. It's just a digital kitchen scale and I only paid $20 for it. It has been well worth the money.
