Marbofloxacin (Zeniquin)

Does anyone know anything about Marbofloxacin (Zeniquin).
Vets are using it as a replacement for baytril as baytril is less effective for many things.
My vet was wondering if anyone knows anything about its use in rats, if it is safe, etc.

I haven't heard of it. It's not labelled for small animals, only cats and dogs. But is sure would be interesting to see if it works.

I wasn't able to find a lot of information on it. Does your vet know if it is a newer drug then Enrofloaxcin or simply not one used much?

I had the impression that it is newer then baytril.
