Hello all. I have 2 males approximately 5 months old. They live together pretty well on a day to day basis, cuddle sleeping and such. And they do have their little tifts too, I'm guessing just establishing alpha.
Bosco, the slightly younger, alpha male has done some nipping lately. We recently got a CN and while moving them he bit my daughter (more her fault) and then the next few days he nipped at my boys. I understand the stress of moving and such can bring this on. But now, 2 weeks after new cage he is still nipping at me when I clean out the cage. And sadly I am now afraid of him. So I feel like I'm stuck in a catch 22. I'm guessing more handling is what I need to do, but I'm really worried he's going to bite me or the kids. I talk to them both all the time, and try to pet him while he's sitting somewhere.
Any suggestions?? What do I need to do??
