I was wondering if it's normal for rats to be very lazy. My two rats (who are both over three) have never been very active. Granted, their cage isn't huge, it's a Rat Resort, but even when I took them out when they were younger they didn't do much running around. If I played with them, they would sometimes hop about, but as soon as I stop they would curl up and sleep. When they are in the cage, they just huddle in their house and sleep.

Is this normal, or is something wrong?

Rats are naturally nocturnal, so it is normal for them to be lazy and sleepy during the day. And I'm not sure if your rats are male, but they tend to be a lot more lazy than females.

Yes they are male, so that's why I never really worried about how lazy they are. I was more curious then anything!
