just had my first scare :(

At first I thought my boy Luther was choking, he looked like he was gagging, his body kind of contracted and a couple times it got to the point of his mouth opening and his tongue would stick right out on the big heaves. He eventually did 'vomit' a little, there was some mushy food block down his chin. He heaved a few more times and then just layed flat and rested. A couple minutes later he cleaned himself and now is acting like nothing happened (climbing, running around, ate a little piece of lettuce). Any insight to what that was? He's a year old. Is there anything I should have been doing?

 

You did everything right, you just have to leave them alone when this happens.
It's very scary I know!
