Is this normal? They are 6 week old males and I thought it was just the one showing that he is the alpha, but now they are all getting each other pinned on their backs and there is so much squeaking going on as they are being pinned. This is normal right? Should I do anything?

babies love to wrestle....and they will squeak and roll around....it is so cute...Normal play for babies...
and yes...pictures please..

That's what my son said earlier - Ah... mom.... we are brothers and we wrestle... that's what brothers do. I thought my little guy, the quieter one, was getting picked on, and at one point he was hiding under one of the ramps. But after a while, he was initiating too. But wow are they rough! Flipping each other over like nothing! Right now they are all nestled together in a big lump in their beds, so I guess they like each other enough to snuggle

I've been snapping photos like a crazy woman, but between the dimmed lights so they can chill out a little in their new surroundings, and the mesh on the cage, the photos aren't great. I'll post a few in a few minutes though so I can show you their sweetness

Any rat under 2 months old, is all play play play. I love it when they play hard like that. Get in there with your hand and shuffle them, engage them with a play of follow the hand.
Oh yes, pics pics pics!

You should have seen it when there were seven babies going at it! They would jump on mom too, and pin her! And then she would pin them and give them a good washing with much complaining. LOL Enjoy it!

You could have a screamer too. I have had some babies that would squeak any time a rat played with him or ones that could scream for hours. Enjoy it now, babies grow so fast especially boys.
