Just an idea (pillow)

I like my rat to be comfortable and cozy. So I took an old t-shirt and folded it and then rolled it up halfway. Then I put it in his cage. And I put another one in the dining room for when he runs around.

When you roll up the t-shirt, they can use it as a pillow. Roll it up so it's about an inch high.

It will also help with the bonding process to have your shirt in the cage. Good idea.
