Josie - More pics + Ava's home!

I've decided to move all of Josies info to a separate thread so that it's easier to watch her progress. Even if she turns out to be not pregnant - I would like it for my future reference. It also may help anyone in the same position.

For anyone who hasn't seen my other thread about her, she was a rescue from Moncton that arrived to me in NS Friday the 17th. I was expecting two brothers of the same age, and instead found a 7 month old male and a 7 week old female. She is now on pregnancy watch. This thread will also be used when I get Gemma (the girl SQ is holding for me while I find transport), who is also on pregnancy watch.

Friday 17th - 60g

Sunday 19th - 90g

Wednesday 22nd - 105g

I highly doubt she's pregnant. She's much too young. You will definitely see a growth spurt because she's growing.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed anyways. lol

I received an email from the person I got her from saying she's between 3-4 months old. That's not too young - is it?
I questioned her to see if she knows this for sure because Josie is so small.

I don't recall Hershey being much bigger than her though when she had her babies.

And I'd just like the information for reference.

I finally found my rat journal with (approximately) weekly weights for Berry and Blossom early on. I hope this helps!

I wouldn't think so. That baby in the link looked tiny, stunted even. But Josie is perfectly formed and looked to be a normal 6 week old.

But Josie is a real baby, Lilith was 120 grams plus when she arrived, with a baby face...TWICE as much as Josie.

This thread is no longer going to be about Gemma as well, SQ has decided she wants to keep her instead.

Josie is 115g today. Up 10 grams from yesterday.

Sorry for the awful photo, she did not feel like sitting still today.
