Jones had a stroke

I rescued jones from being a feeder about three weeks ago he was doing great gaining wieght playing with harrison and then one night when i was getting ready for bed i noticed harrison came to his door but jones didnt i went to check up on him and he wasnt moveing i grabed him called the vet right away got him checked did some test and they think he had a stroke :sad3: :cry4: he is completely blind and he wouldnt eat any solid food i hand fed him for a week about three days ago he started to eat some food and drink water he inproving slowly im really happy about that but i am really worried he might have another one or a heart attack and he might not be so lucky :sad3:

Some rats can make pretty good recoveries after a stroke. If he's improving, that is a good sign.

Poor little guy, but he might do a full recovery, keep feeding him and hydrating him. Was he given any meds like prednisone.

Thanks guys! he seems to be doing ALOT better he has more comtroll over his head hes eating and drinking again and adapting well to not being able to see he seems to have his head lower to smell where hes going
