Jonah has a huge mass in one of his lungs.
He has been on meds (baytril, zithro, pred, + lasix) for months to try to manage his condition and to try to slow or stop the growth of the lump. His breathing hasn't been good but he hasn't been in distress.
He has lost a great deal of weight and is way too thin (220g)
Last night I gave him sub-Q fluids as he was very dehydrated.
Today he is better but still dehydrated and vet couldn't hear his heart because of his lungs (fluid in lungs? in chest? lump muffling sound?)
Gave him sub-Q fluids this afternoon and will give more tonight.
So, worried about dehydration/fluid build up, calcium deposits, reduced blood circulation that could cause an emergency, tumor stoping flow of air to his other lung, etc.
Jonah seems so bright today,
I don't want to have him pts tomorrow but I don't want him to suffer if things start to get bad fast.
:sad3:
