Janeway, Jem and Bella will be PTS this week :(

I knew that this month and the next few months were going to be crappy ones. So many of our kids are starting to slow down and get sick hard and fast because of their age. We just lost Mya a few weeks ago and now we're going to lose Janeway too.
I wasn't sure what was wrong but when I mentioned her sympton of Pushing her paws forward and rearing her head back many people said it was PT. Another kid with PT, it's so unfair. Since she started to do the pushing thing the other day she's lost the ability to hold anything and is now having a hard time eating mushed food too.
We're going to have her PTS this week. We don't want her to suffer and at this point I don't think meds could buy her much time.

awww, hun, I KNOW what you're going through. This past few mnths have been SO hard here too. PT, tumours, aging, etc.

I'm so sorry :-( I just lost my two older boys within about a month of each other (and the family dog I grew up with in between). It has been a really crappy year for a lot of people. Many hugs :hugs:

Thanks guys....we're having to make a lot of hard decisions. We have quite a few sick kids that are starting to suffer. When we take in Janeway we'll be taking in Jem and Bella as well Jem has been loosing weight for a little while now she would eat a few bites to please us but now she has stopped eating altogether and won't take her meds. Her breathing is very hard and obvious that she's not doing well. Bella has been struggling with respitory issues since we got her. We've tried all kinds of different med combo's and nothing seems to have worked for her. Her lungs have gotten worse and she's to the point where she just stays in the hammock day in and day out not even going for food unless you give it to her. I think just moving hurts her lungs and puts her into a sneezing and wheezing attack.
It's going to be hard on us to have these three girls PTS but I think it's the right thing to do. They've gone through a lot and I don't think they should suffer any more with us trying to force feed and force medicate them when it stresses them out.
