Ismene or "Izzie" was born on 8/6/13 at Moonlit Meadow's Rattery in VA. She is by Blue Ridge's Triton (hairless) and Moonlit Meadow's Icey (blue agouti). She's a Russian Blue variegrated. I adopted her along with her sister, Antigone (Annie), a beige red-eyed girl. Unfortunately on 2/21/14, I had to put Annie to sleep due to a sudden onset of kidney disease that caused her right kidney to swell to the size of a walnut. Poor Izzie is on her lonesome until two new baby girls come to me from the breeder! In the meantime, she likes snuggling with her new stuffed animal frog and getting hugs and kisses from me. She is a big squish, the friendliest and sweetest rat I've ever had. Fingers crossed that she lives a long, happy life. She deserves it!
