Iris was spayed

Iris was spayed today and is doing well.
She did not want to show off her incision ... it looks good tho ...

Iris in the rat carrier ..... back home from the vet.

Iris is feeling fine ... all set to run around and explore

Of course she will have to wait until tomorrow.
This evening she will be taking it easy snuggled up to a heating pad for pets (no electricity, heats in the microwave).

no matter how many times they have surgery (and this vet, Dr. Carnegy, has done 17 girls for me) ... it is alway a worry until they are safely home.

Soon Iris will be having neutral intros with Gus and Buddy .... :happydance:

I am SO relieved. Iris (or should we call her Myfanwy? ) is a sweetheart, and I am glad that she is doing OK.

Kisses and banana mash to her, and tell her that her godmother is wishing her a speedy recovery.

She is doing fine and had a neutral intro with Gus and Buddy ...
She is quite the kick boxer ... kicking them in the face with her back feet and squeeking when they touch her or try to sniff her butt.
... doesn't seem to deter those 2 persistent boys at all .....

No injuries, no blood, no puffiness, etc. just lots of curiousity, sniffing (by the boys) and kick boxing (by Iris)
