So we're failed at rescuing one for Lindy, haha, I couldn't let her go when it was time for the handoff. She was snuggled so sweetly in my arms, I couldn't pass her on.

Darcy is approx 6 weeks old and we've begun intros with my crew. Everything seems to be going along smoothly, except with my one girl who seems to like her TOO much. She keeps picking her up and carrying her around like she would a baby. Darcy doesn't seem to mind being dragged around by the scruff, but I'm a little concerned. It seems a little possesive. What do you think? Is that normal?

The other girls I've introed her with have all accepted her with no issues, a little sniffing and then snuggled together in my lap.

I've seen a few rats do that to newbies. I have one that will do that to bigger rats too. It looks comical and is annoying to the newcomer but nothing bad has ever come of it.
