So we're usually pretty good at intros. This intro feels like it might take us a while so I wanted to get some tips lol

We have two boy's one is I'd say 5-6 months and the other 10-11 months. They have been adopted together pending we can get them to like each other lol

We tried intros in the bathtube. All was fine for a few min then Pinky (aka M'artok dad from rescue litter in freddy) puffed up and attacked Brain.

It was the normal kind of intro fight a ball of rats screaming but no injuries.

I think Pinky scared himself because now he is the wimp. He will run away if Brain comes over to him and do the stare down along with that kinda of hissing noise they do when they're afraid.

Brain wants to be his friend. It's Pinky now that really gets defensive and when he runs of course Brain chases him. I have a video to show this lol

So I'm wondering what else I can try to help intros go better?

When I have them both on me Pinky will go all stiff and put up the paw like go away to Brain and Brain just doesn't care lol. So how do you get a nervous rat to just accept this new friend?

Oh boy. You've got 2 boys both at the hormonal age. It's going to be tough without someone getting neutered.
When a rat attacks during a bathtub intro, that's not good.

Maybe they could be neutered at Dalhas' vet? .... as she sounds good and less expensive ...

You need to go back a step and take longer .... back to cages near each other, exchanging cloths, etc

Do you guys think if just Pinky was neutered it would go well for intros? He seems to be the one that is most deffensive and will attack because of it. Brain just doesn't seem to care but when pinky acts like that and runs away he will give chase.
When he catchs up with him he doesn't do anything . Pinky will do the open mouth hissing noise and be the one to attack first.

What do you think?

Pinky is reacting to the signals sent by Brain. Brain is the bully...but it could be that if Pinky gets neutered, he won't be so stressed anymore.

So we decided we're just going to neuter them all lol I think from what you guys are saying it will make it way easier and it'll be easier on us as well in case we get have to keep any of the boys here.
I so hate having intact males in the house especially after Hermione.
So Velma we'll be sending probably 5 males to you if we get that lone boy down here from Freddy.
