Ingested Meds.

While giving two other rats medication for mites (panomec) the knife i had sitting ontop of the jar fell, my rat Azi was quick to jump right to the post spot and lap up as much as she could, which was probabli i glob about the size of a finger nail, i quickli grabbed her out, got as much as i could out of her mouth and off her little paws, is there anything i can do?! this happend mear minutes ago...

Rats cannot vomit, so there's not much you can do...(That's why rat poison works so well...)

I would say go to the vet ASAP. They would prob be able to help you. Because with that meds i know they only to get like a grain of rice size and taking in a finger nail sounds like a lot more then they should have.

I don't know if a vet can do anything but you never know.

How long ago was it ingested? I would think you would see signs of toxicity soon after ingestion.
