Inca's Ear (Auricular Hematoma?) and Tria of Course

Inca's beauty mark on her ear has been rapidly changing. Its now shiny and larger and round. I will assume its old blood in there? Any ideas?

Poor Tria started showing signs of PT, so I started her on dex...she's improved, but she's a very old lady, and I don't think I will put her on the bromocriptine, just keep her comfortable on the old regime of medications.

Jani had that too and the vet had to remove it when it started to bleed. You can see her ear cut off here

I just sent an email to my vet about getting Inca in for her ear on thursday or friday. It is still growing. :undecided:

I'm sure the surgery will be one of the easiest you've had to deal with.

Well it seems that Inca will be having that jaunty air Jani had...Dr Munn will know better once he goes in to remove it. Whether he can just cauterize the 2 blood vessels and empty it or remove that part of the ear.

It seems Inca didn't have a hematoma, it was a tumour, most likely a melanoma so it was cut out and she will be fine There was no blood in it just tissue.

It was a true surgery today, but we are home and if you really look you'll see the difference but a look and you won't.

She's back in her metal bottom cage chewing on the bars. :giggle:
