Ibuprofen???

A friend of mine had her rat neutered today and the vet did not get her anything for pain management. So she has decided to give him ibuprofen every 4 hours.

Opinions?

Here's the dosage guide for Ibuprofen from Rat Guide. Forward it to her so she figure out the appropriate dose.

I would suggest she contact the vet to see about getting a few doses of metacam, it works great for the pain and swelling after neuters.
