I trained my rats to know when I have peas for them

When I have peas on a small plate, I say, "peas" and then they come running to me and I give them the peas.

This was sort of an accident actually. I had been saying "peas" whenever I had given them peas, and then yesterday as soon as I said "peas", I noticed Jasper jump and start running to me.

That's when I realized they knew. I just did it again today and they came running as soon as I said it.

It's so cool.

It's very cool, amazing how fast they learn too. I can tell mine to go home after out time and most of them do.
