Any clue what that could mean?

Raybeam approx 6 months old (my blind guy) has lost about 30g and is walking a bit wobbly on the backend and hunched up. He doesn't look well at all, very out of the blue.

Any suggestions?

And...well...Bryan just updated me-apparently he has some congestion :( Crap...if he has pneumonia, would he be arched walking like that?

I don't mean to worry you, but this is exactly how my first rat with pneumonia presented. He suddenly looked very scruffy, hunched and wobbly. Please see a vet ASAP, pneumonia is very serious, but they can recover with antibiotics.

I already put him on antibiotics tonight, I have zithro and baytril all mixed up and he just got his first dose, also did a neb. :( poor guy. That's what I was thinking after I started putting it all together.

Wow, that's great that he seems to be responding so quickly. I hope you caught this early enough that he will bounce back with no problem.

This are still getting better. I'm so thankful for it! He must have been feeling really under the weather. I've never seen a boy pick up so fast with meds.

He gained 5 grams back. I can tell he's still a little weak, but I think I'm out of the clear with anything terrible. *fingers crossed*
