How to dose Revolution?

I need to know, I have a total of 7 ratties now and with all the newbies I will be dosing everyone with Revolution, (Thank GOD my Vet office Sells it, I get a discount as I work there WooHOO) All my Ratties weight differn't amounts

How do I dose it out any help would be great, I know to get the Kitten/Puppy one the 60ml I think, but How much for each rat, in General whats the dose???

I will get a Weight on them tomorrow night, I have mostly Babies, but I also have somem Young adults, and 2 Older rats, but the have been staying at the vet office since I rescued them on Thursday, (They come home tomorrow) as Oliver has Respitory Problems They think. but His skin is very irritated too, so I don't know if I should use it on them since they have skin irritation issues already.

Is it ok for my Hairless rats too??

Selamectin absorbs into the skin, and its fast, so yes, use it on your nakie and your newbies. The irritated skin could be from ectoparasites.

6mg/kg is the dose your vet tech can figure it for you as well.

Has anyone heard of Zodiac? its like revolution cept you can buy from a holistic pet food store.

does anyone know if that would be suitable to treat mites, im guessing the kitten one would be.

Did a little Google, if its shampoos, sprays and powders then it is NOT recommended to use with our rats.

been trying to find the product having a hard time, because we have the old version with 3 tubes,, looks like its changed to 4 pack, I'm not sure if its the same ingrediant panel, bt id guess so.

Etofenprox is the active insecticide..but i am at work and cannot do in-depth research. It seems very effective with mosquitos tho

just figured if it worked ok, id use that instead, I trust the safety of it more for cats and dogs,, but no clue about ratties ; ;

I have heard some scary things with other topicals...If you can, just stick with the Revolution...its proven safe.

For Zodiac

It's Methropene 2.9%
and also There Precor which is a insect growth regulator (IGR)

I agree. I laways tell people to avoid that stuff and stick with revolution.

Ok, So SOrry it took so long My Scales Batteries were dead and I needed to get more.

So UMMM lets see
Echo is 97g
Edward is 127g
Suri is in between 142-147g She was a Wiggler LOL, the scale kept jumping between the 2 numbers.
I haven't gotten a Chanc eto weigh Marley, Onyx and Domino, Bella, April ( Probably close to 97 as they are only a bit bigger then Echo but not as big as Edward I haven't done Tito or Oliver yet (these 2 are fat so I know they will weigh the most though, LOL)
I will get to them tonight hopefully.

Any help is appreciated. The vet tech that does the dosing for the rats is the only girl that has Rats besided my Ratties doctor, and 1 is on Vaca, and the other is a tech Conference for the week, so asking them is not possible, The other Techs and Drs. aren't positive on dosing for rats as not all the techs and dr.s in my practice have much experience with them, or even putting revolution on anything that small.

Using Puppy/Kitten, you would need to pour the tubes into a small sealable container. All of your rats would get .01 cc...a teeeeeny amount.

its the puppy/kitten one I should get right? about 1 drop per adult rat...
