Here is the background:
Daffy had what I considered to be an upper respiratory sound - almost like a head cold. So I gave it a few days to see if it would clear on its own, and it didn't, so I started her on Baytril. That was July 8th.
She has been asymptomatic almost the whole time since then. Now normally I would keep her on it for three weeks, to make sure she doesn't have a relapse, BUT I would like to go to the cottage this weekend, which would mean she would miss her meds all day Saturday. Today is the 20th, so that is 12 days on Baytril so far.
Should I:
a) stop her meds altogether, it's been long enough,
b) continue her meds, but give her a bit extra today and Sunday to make up for the missed day, or
c) I should absolutely not miss a day, regardless of what I want to do this weekend.
Please advise, O knowledgeable ones!
