October 23rd, the rats are getting neutered.

I've decided to do both at the same time, to save stress and just get it over with. I'm just soooo scared.

I have to leave them there at 8 am, and pick them up later at like 12, and i hate it. i don't want them there missing their mommies and feel like they're abandoned again like they were before. bugh.

i will hate that day.

i hope everything will go well.

i would really love and appreciate any advice from past experiences when it comes to neutering. this is so terrifying for me.

Why have you decided to get them neutered? Good luck, hope they do okay.
Neutering is generally a very straight forward operation.

Good luck! Make sure the vet gives you some Metacam to take home for the pain - most complications are actually post op because some vets don't give pain meds.

It's going to be a nail biter day and lots of pacing.
This should settle your boys down real good, turn them into sweethearts. All my males are neutered here. I just love the happy cuddle bugs they are.

I never stop being nervous the day of surgery, even though my vet is a very skilful surgeon. So, if you have confidence in your vet and if you take home some metacam, things should go well.

We'll all be thinking of you on the big day.
